I’ve just spent 20 minutes showing a potential tenant around my house, she’s spending her weekend the same way I spent mine. Looking around a city she doesn’t know, finding somewhere to live at very short notice, and arranging to move in during her weekend off.

This city was my fourth choice and her first choice, and I’m moving to an area close to where her boyfriends moving to.

Hey – if we swapped jobs then she’d be able to stay near her boyfriend and I’d not have to work out how to relocate in three weeks.

Humm.
